The Buddy Program is an important initiative at Prouille. Each child starting in Kindergarten is paired with a Year 6 student who provides support, care and fun for their buddy throughout the year.
This helps to build confidence, self esteem and resilience for the younger child while also providing a social contact and cross age friendship. 
Year 6 students also benefit from this program as it provides a special responsibility and develops their leadership and mentoring skills.
Many special activities are enjoyed by the buddies throughout the year, including the much anticipated Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
Family Buddy Program
Our Prouille Parents & Friends’ Association has initiated a very welcome and successful program.
Each family new to the school is matched with a Prouille family whose child is currently in the class the new student is joining.
This program helps to support and assimilate the new family into our school community.
